Hyuuga Sumiyaka vs Masamune Hayate

The Hokage would wait until both Sumiyaka and Hayate would be on the mat facing one another, 10 meters away from each-other. The Dojo would be quite large, but not extreme in size as it would only be a 100 by 80 meters worth of combat area if not counting the rubble and the flat concrete floor on the sides, which would then make the room be 200 by 180 instead. The duo were at the center of the room. As the 6th would count them off and exclaim for them to start, with equal levels of speed and reaction it was an interesting question indeed which one of them would react first. Timing was the difference between life and death in the shinobi world after-all.

When the battle started Sumiyaki concentrated, gathering up chakra for the coming battle. He knew their speed was equal, but he was determined to be ready for when the boy came for him. He calmed down completely and molded his chakra.

After that his oponent could see the veins near his eyes bulge, a sign that he activated his eyes, if the boy knew what that was anyway.

He made the seals for his next move, Bunshin no Jutsu, to create distraction for his oponent.

Then he moved sideways torwards the rouble, wanting tactical advantage voer the boy for furute moves.

"I am ready for you, Masamune Hayate-kun.." he said, completely focused on battle.

Hayate had realized when he first decided to find a ridiculous challenge this would probably end up a bit crazy, it only made the whole ordeal something to look forward to really. He watched carefully as Sumiyaka began to, his eyes changing visibly as a pair of clones appeared.

"Well alright then" The boy grinned, he took a moment to survey the area, looking for anything that could give him an advantage... a weapon of some kind maybe. As well as looking to pinpoint which of the clones was the real deal.

With his search complete, he mirrored the Hyuuga's movements, moving across with him, leaving them at the same stalemate as before.

For now though, he had no reason to try and attack head on, he wasn't sure of his opponents abilities, instead deciding that, for now, he was going to wait to see what Sumiyaka did first.

Impressive investigation skill for a genin en it's boosted.
Hayate succeeds at finding a loose leg of a table, a somewhat broken easily grabbed chair, he also notices a small plank among the rubble which used to be part of a tabletop, half to be exact.
Next move....the hyuuga is again.

Hyuuga saw Hayate-kun moving along with him, and looking around. Then he desided to attack since he had two clones with him. He wanted to see how quickly he could end this. He closed the distance and and attacked, using his clones to attack him just a fraction before him, taking advantage of the fact that Hayate-kun might want to dodge the fake attack or not. The clones attacked his face and legs while he himself went for a direct hit on his belly.

"Take this!" he called out at the last moment with his clones. He would show this boy what real hand-to-hand combat was. Too bad the boy was going to lose to him.

Hayate's turn

Hayate saw his options in the rubble, with any of those his chances of victory increased. Calmly he watched the Hyuuga close in on him, even with his stupid clones, all attacking at once. Though he didn't flinch, instead he counter attack with a quick upwards kick at the attacking limbs, attempting to knock them aside.

Without missing a beat, he proceeded to violently lash out with his leg as soon as the other hit the ground. Aiming to knock the Hyuuga back and disperse of those clones..

[3 AP - Senpuu: -2 PE, -2ME]

Hayate suceeds in knocking the Hyuuga's attacking limb aside stopping his assault, at that moment Sumiyaka would notice and understand that apparently Hayate had somehow already figured out which of the 3 was the real one.

The Masamune boy would proceed with his next move.

Sumiyaka's turn.

Hyuuga was surprised that you had blocked their attacks, maybe it was smarter to devide the attacks next time he used his clones. He saw the whirlwind attack come and dodged it, jumping back out of range. He also realised that the rouble was way to far away, so he decided to stay here and keep attacking and defending.

Then he made sure he got some distance between him and the boy, moving back four more meters beside what he had dodged.

When he got back enough he quickly molded up more chakra.

Sumiyaka would succesfully dodge the assault and move out of range safely.

Jinno's turn

Being safely out of range now, Hayate smirked and suddenly fled off towards the rubble. His job to get some distance between them had worked perfectly it would seem. Using his full speed he would run off to the right.

The distance between Hayate and Sumiyaka is now 34 meters. 20 meters remain to the rubble

Sumiyaka's turn

Sumiyaka silently cursed and started sprinting after the boy, staying behind him as best as possible. He had collected some nice chakra, so he would work with what he had now.

2 meters between Masamune Hayate and Hyuuga Sumiyaka. still 20 meters between the rubble and Hayate.

Seeing as his plan worked, giving him that distance got him far enough away not to worry about attack. He continued the rest of the way, stopping only at the edge of the rubble field.

(Pretty sure a sprint action means I can't do other actions that round without Losing the speed bonus. If that's not right, use the last action to pick up the table leg.)

Sumiyaki stayed behind his opponent, rushing forward to shorten the distance with Hayate some more. He formed the seals for his next move. This seemed smarter to him nstead of rushing his opponent again. He'd rather not go and dodge a hard piece of wood when he just got in range. After taking a few more quick steps he gave a shout: "Jibashiri!". Lightning sparkled from his fingertips and shot over the ground to Hayate, this would have a good chance of stunning him.

He picks up the table leg quickly and looks over to his opponent. Keeping his distance... Smart. Though he saw him form hand seals and proceed to release some form of lightning jutsu.

Not wanting any of that, Hayate proceeded to try and dodge the technique as it sailed through the ground at him, jumping forwards to avoid the shocking attack.

With that out of the way he would move forwards and wait for the Hyuuga's next move.

[2 AP - Close Distance: 8 meters away from Sumiyaka]

Hayate would take the leg of the table that was loose and jumped into the air to avoid the Jibarashi which was thrown at him however the lightning seemed to move faster than the Masamune boy could jump. As Hayate would move himself into the air he would see the tendrils of lightning barely scratch the soles of his feet and then shoot up slightly shocking him.
But due to the nature of the jutsu that was enough to temporarily make his body go slightly numb.
Falling back down but managing to keep himself steady.
However due to the shock from the move he would find himself unable to take the intended 8 meters of additional distance finding his body to numb to move.
Hayate also sustains 1 HP damage from this.
However the stunning effect of the lightning move would soon subside.

Hyuuga Sumiyaka's turn.

(Sumiyaka's attack value after defense reduction ; 2 ....Hayate rolls 1 success on a roll of 3 dice with his dodge lowering this roll to 1 dice. Sumiyaka rolls an 8 on his single dice attack. Partial hit.)

The hyuuga smiled, "heh, so you are contend with this distance? Lets keep it like this for a moment.." he said, quickly gathering some more chakra for another attack. He formed seals again and another ark of lightning ripped forth from his fingertips, flying your direction.

Now, he had to move. Either get closer to Hayate if the boy got stunned to finish off what he started or back off to get some more distance between them if the boy evaded his attack.

(-1AP, Move 4 meters. Away from Hayate if attack misses. Thorwards Hayate if attack hits and stuns. (If setting this kind of condition is allowed ofcourse))

Hayate hadn't expected it to move that fast and was rewarded with a quick jolt of electricity through his body. He proceeded to barely stop himself from falling over. "Yeah come over here and say that' he retorted, seeing him form the same seals again. Not this time! He proceeded to dodge as he tried last time, jumping forward again to clear the jutsu's effect.

Should his dodge be successful, and not end up screwing him over like it did last time, he'd proceed forward until he had closed more distance.

Hayate successfully avoids the lightning current this time and closes in on the hyuuga.
10 meters between them.

He sighed and ran to Hayate, time to get hand-to-hand again. He roared out as he ran forward and attacked with a flying kick.

He gathered the boy would doge this one, but when he had just dodged he would punch, going for the boy his face. He put all his concentration in this punch, he just had to hit this!

Finally! He was coming in close, it'd all be over soon, for good or for worse. His flying quick was predictable, loud and a little stupid, but he decided to try block it with his table leg.

The Next punch coming quicker than he thought, he brought up the table leg to block and tried to counter with some precise blows of his weapon.

Masamune Hayate successfully blocks both attacks with his improvised weapon.
Sumiyaka would see the table leg flying at him now.
It's the Hyuuga's turn.

Hyuuga cursed softly when the other boy blocked his hits. He let the two hits come and deflected them so that his weapon would swing on, missing him.

You could see some changes in his stance, one you hadn't seen before. Then he took a swing at you, one more precise then his standard Taijutsu skills. His hand was used like a spear, jabbing it at you with precise timing. His tearget was Hayate's chest, and heart to be precise, blocking Hayate's heart chakra point.
